Microsoft is officially launching Microsoft 365 Copilot Business, a new edition of Copilot tailored to organizations with fewer than 300 users. It delivers the same powerful Copilot experience already available in the enterprise SKU, including AI-assisted productivity across Microsoft 365 applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams. The new offering introduces a more competitive price point and expands purchasing options through new bundled SKUs that combine Microsoft 365 Business plans with Copilot Business in a single, streamlined package.

Microsoft 365 Copilot Business provides a unified AI experience that works across the familiar Microsoft 365 applications your customers use daily. It leverages Work IQ—the intelligence layer behind Microsoft 365 Copilot—to deliver highly personalized assistance, automate everyday tasks, and surface insights while respecting existing security, privacy, and compliance frameworks. Because it builds on customers’ current Microsoft 365 environments, no additional configuration is required, ensuring a seamless and secure adoption path.

Licensing & Eligibility

Copilot Business can be added to any tenant using Microsoft 365 Business Basic, Business Standard, or Business Premium, as long as the total number of provisioned seats within the Business family does not exceed 300. Customers operating beyond that threshold should consider the standard Microsoft 365 Copilot enterprise offer.

New Bundled SKUs

To simplify purchasing and help partners position Copilot more effectively, Microsoft is releasing three new bundled offerings:

• Microsoft 365 Business Basic and Copilot Business

• Microsoft 365 Business Standard and Copilot Business

  (ΕΕΑ, with or without Teams)

• Microsoft 365 Business Premium and Copilot Business

These bundles package the productivity suite and Copilot into a single SKU, reducing transactional complexity and enabling customers to adopt AI capabilities as part of an integrated business plan.
