After 2 years, having thoroughly learned the company’s procedures and business, he decided to focus on the analysis and design part of R&D. During a 1-on-1 meeting with his reviewer, Dimitris expressed his desire for a change and interest in moving to the R&D department, driven by his passion for analysis and problem-solving. Dimitris felt that this transition would better suit his skills and interests, allowing him to contribute more effectively and find greater job satisfaction. He then had a conversation and a brief interview with the head of the R&D department, where he expressed his interest in transitioning to R&D and highlighted his skills and enthusiasm for analysis. After completing his obligations with the support department, he transitioned to his new role in R&D. Upon transitioning to the R&D department, Dimitris underwent a short internal onboarding, reviewed documentation, and stayed in close contact with his team, which helped him quickly adapt to his new responsibilities.
