Holding a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Humanities from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Alexandra has a strong academic background and has worked in various roles, having also spent time abroad, gaining valuable working experience. Alexandra’s career spanned various sectors: education, telecommunications, tourism, and technology. In the UK she worked in partner support for a global travel company. In 2017, she returned to her homeland, and later, suddenly faced a temporary health issue which made her rethink her priorities and seek remote work opportunities. This led her to a tech advisor position for a large company. Her skills and dedication quickly became word of mouth, leading to a job offer from our company through an existing employee.

The recruitment process & onboarding journey

The hiring process included two interviews with the Head of the Marketing department. During the second interview, she was asked to complete a small assessment, which was evaluated on the spot. The entire process, from the first interview to the official job offer, took two weeks. Alexandra was given access to all necessary systems and received the company equipment immediately upon hiring. After a warm welcome by the team, the onboarding process began, including online courses from our training platform as well as simultaneous meetings and trainings with team members for the internal department onboarding. The process lasted about three weeks and Alexandra became fully productive and autonomous approximately two months after joining the company.

Career path evolution

Alexandra joined the company as a Lead Generation Specialist, exploring methods and tools for customer outreach. In her role, she was given guidance but also the freedom to experiment and bring back not only results but also learnings. During this time she quickly expressed her dedication policies and procedures as a comprehensive path for continuous improvement, and, soon was given opportunities to draft new and optimize existing internal procedures, aiming to refine workflows and reporting. After the first employee evaluation cycle, where her skills and professional growth were discussed, she expressed to her reviewer her desire to shift away from lead generation and move into operational roles. After her successfully acting as an Operations Specialist for a trimester, she transitioned some of her responsibilities to focus exclusively on her new role as a Senior Marketing and Sales Operations Coordinator.
